So, is it ever explained what exactly ether is in the context of Xenoblade Chronicles X's world, or are we to assume that it fulfills the same role that it did in the original Xenoblade Chronicles? The Yggralith Enemy Index entry supports the latter conclusion, but I can't be sure.
