Has anyone noticed the Corrin/Inkling similarities?

They're both multi-gender, they're both from very recent games, and Corrin's turning into a dragon is similar to Inklings turning into squids. It's probably a coincidence, but I wonder if maybe it's part of the reason Sakurai added Corrin. Maybe he thought Inkling fans would be less upset about their exclusion if we got a similar character.

    Like how they added a gray color for Fox and Wolf's moves as customs because they weren't bringing back Wolf.

    Except Corrin uses moves that would actually hurt people instead of soft paint brushes and and ink that wouldn't come off. If they got hit by Mario's F.L.U.D.D then that's an instant stock. Same with swimming
