Physical release when?

I dont want this to be another Siren Blood Curse scenario where you can only buy it digital only. You guys Bayonetta 2 a physical release, and recently a reprint. You guys gave Devils Third a physical release (but no reprint, leaving me at the mercy of scalpers...). Come on Nintendo of America, stop memeing around and get your act together!

  • But we where lucky to even get this game here. We should be greatful that Nintendo gave it to us at all. People should be quiet and just accept everything about it in silence. (Sarcasm) Seriously though people may call you entitled and various other names because of your refusal to accept NOA laziness. I should know, it happened to me. I couldn't agree more with you though.

  • in all seriousnes NOA is nothing but laziness. why did we have to wait till 2012 for xenoblade and the last story, and 2013 for pandora's tower? when they could've done that back when the pal regions got them earlier. why did they wait till a rew months later to bring the the small new 3DS to the states? when they could've done it earlier, if you ask me they're taking away consumer rights.

  • They didn't release it physically because they didn't see it economically feasible! I don't blame them. Given that the game did well, they might release the next one physical too? Don't hold your breath for this one

  • They didn't see it as economically feasible based on sales of past games on OTHER consoles. Consoles with infinitely more game options than the Wii U. That is why they sold poorly. They had much more competition on the other consoles. It's easy to skip a franchise when you have a ton of better known options. NOA has no sales data for this franchise on Nintendo consoles in the US. They where making

    Yeahs4
  • assumptions based on flawled data. This game had a much better chance of selling on WiiU simply because of a lack of options of new software. Besides even printing physical copies would have been a minimal risk as NOE paid for the translation which is by far the largest cost. Printing disks is pennies in comparison. Not printing this game physically when they didn't have to pay for anything else

  • is a lazy effort that shows that NOA doesn't care about their consumers that want mature rated games. It also insures that mature rated games will continue to sell poorly on Nintendo consoles as a lack of more mature rated games on store shelves isn't going to convince the "hardcore" gamer to invest in a Nintendo console. Games on shelves sell consoles not games in digital space.

    Yeahs7
  • The only physical games we got from NOA that are rated M for Mature are Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Geist, Bayonetta 2 and Devil's Third. So yeah, it's like if NOA can't make up their minds on whenever or not they should release a M rated title in North America. It's just Stupid. -_-

    Yeahs4
  • I know Joey! There is nothing wrong with Mario, Zelda, ect. But Nintendo needs to release more mature rated games too. A little balance in their releases would be nice. Nintendo is in the best position of all of the console makers to be all things to all types of gamers. They have the family friendly thing dialed in. Now they need more mature titles to round that out. They just need to do it.

  • Shoot Justin, not to mention the fact that Illusion of Gaia (AKA Illusion of Time in Europe) on Super Nintendo has parts in it that blew my mind like the pig and this one guy get burned and either turned into pork or a skeleton. I was like "This Super Nintendo game is published by Nintendo? Holy crud!" O_O

    Yeahs0
  • here's the thing: obviously NOA can't look in the future and foresee the sales. and point being you can't know the sales unless they even give it a chance and NOA doesn't even want to give it a chance. and thats letting down the fans. and losing the fans should make your company panic and then you'll learn to put the fans first. remember your company can be more successful if you put theb fans 1st
