Let it be known that Xenoblade Chronicles X is a hell of a lot harder than its Wii predecessor. I'm so glad they added the "make things easier" option to accommodate for the higher difficulty, even if I'm trying not to use it much.

The level pacing is terrible. The first game could get frustrating at times, but XCX's difficulty can get ridiculous.

yeah I definitely see what you mean there, the first few chapters or so are easy then there's a huge difficulty spike out of nowhere I have a feeling that's because the developers wanted you to stop and do some side missions at times like that, but that interrupts the pacing of the story which is bad

It's annoying that I can't do any affinity missions in the middle of a story mission. I'm extremely underlevelled, affinity missions would help.
