THE MOST EPIC IDEA EVER! At least to me it is!

I've been thinking of recreating the Beyblade G-Revolution game from the GBA, and recreate the aspects from it with some differences. The part I think will be difficult, since I can't really code, is the bey battles. What I need are some lessons that could give me an understanding on how to make this a reality.

    a tip: make your game consist out of several loops, so for a battle just make another loop

    I would wait until they release it on Wii U this spring because if you recreate it on Wii U, then that's like playing a virtual console game that didn't come out yet

    ... I don't own a Wii U. And I already have some ideas to make this different. Like, instead of pressing both L and R to activate the Bit-Beast attack, you'll only press X. Still can't figure out the Engine Gear, but you'll press Y instead of pressing both A and B to activate it. I just need to figure out how the power of the bey, it's endurance meter, and some other stuff.
