Amiibo Mewtwo

Duvida: Comprei o Amiibo do Mewtwo e estou esperando chegar. A minha versão do 3DS fica no Old 3DS, ou seja, eu precisaria do leitor de NFC pra usar o amiibo, a questão é, eu não tenho a DLC do Mewtwo na versão do 3DS, usando o Amiibo do próprio Mewtwo o que iria acontecer, liberaria o personagem?
