Why do people want to get a Nintendo anime based on one of their previously existing IPs when the same people complain about Nintendo's overuse of IPs like Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda? Wouldn't they PREFER to have an original series with original characters, possibly accompanied with a video game with said characters? (Last post)

    People complain about the abundance of bad spinoffs and the general repetitiveness of those games, not the fact that they get made. An anime would be something totally different, new and at the same time establish a plot.
