    ...polital action committee. Actually if I recall, "pakku" in the Japanese name was chosen because his round shape resembled a hockey puck... The localization could have been Puck-Man, but Pac-Man sounded better to English-speaking ears.

    Thanks Eric! I actually knew about the history of Pac Man, how he was called originally 'Puck Man' due to his resemblance to a hockey puck and the onomatopoeia 'pakku'. I just wanted to see some funny answers! I am still thinking... Excluding the hockey puck and the Chuck'n'cheese pizza minus a slice, what is a pac!? ;)
