So, the new director won't be allowed to get Snake back and put in 3rd parties from the same franchises?

Even if they still limit 3rd parties to like 6-8? Like if Sonic, Tails, Bayonetta, Mega Man, Ryu, Ken, Snake and Banjo and Kazooie were the only 3rd Parties?

    Nope, Ken and Tails would break the rule. Sakurai has his rules for good reasons and is best to understand and accept. As far as the next game goes they will likely keep any classical characters like Sonic and Pac-Man while adding characters from whichever company decides to help make the next SSB title(this time it was Namco, tomorrow could be SEGA or someone else).

    Snake sucks, Ken would be a Ryu clone, Banjo Kazooie are highly unlikely and would SUCK as characters. Let's stick with the ones we have now, (Exept Snake) and wait for the new Smash, which is rather unlikely to be created.
