Hey anyone have a honest opnion on Star Fox 64 on 3ds? It's part of the winter sale and was thinking about buying it.

    I've played it loads. While not as good as the Super Nintendo version (Nostalgia talking) it's still really really good and having it potable is fantastic. Have you played Star Fox 64 before? What do you want to know about it?

    Yes I love Star Fox 64! Well it mentions in the ad that it has new motion controls,that worries me a bit.

    The gyro is optional. I always turn them off. If you still want suggestions, while Star Fox 64 on 3DS is excellent, look into Kid Icarus Uprising as well. While it's not on sale, it's a superior game in my eyes. It was originally going to be a Star Fox game, but Sakuri decided to take it in a new direction. Intense air and ground combat, choose your own difficultly, great voice acting...

    and an online mode. The controls in KIU take a little getting used to, but I really enjoyed it. On the other hand. You really can't go wrong with Star Fox 64. It's definitely worth the purchase. And on sale...GO FOR IT!

    Thanks Hero! I have looked at Kid Ic but I was very skeptical of the controls. That is the main reasn that I haven't bought that game.

    Yes. There are videos that explain it in eshop. You move your character with the L stick, you aim with the stylus and you fire with the L shoulder button. Often I turn the firing to the autofire setting so that my left hand isn't overstrained. A special stand was released with the game. The controls sound confusing, but after a few levels, it's second nature. For now your safe bet...

    would be Star Fox, but KIU is something to consider down the road when Nintendo's release schedule of worthwhile game dries up and you're looking for another Star Fox type game on the 3DS down the road ;)

    Another thing...KIU does not allow screenshots in Miiverse. They did at one time, but the game came with these VR playing cards where you would use the camera to have a character apear. Well, a kid used the camera to send inappropriate pictures of himself on Miiverse...And thus the screenshot funtion is no more.

    I went to purchase last night but am out of roon,so I am going to have to get a card. I only have what came with it and MH4 really used up quiet a bit,but was wortj it. I like MH4 so far and I've yet to really get into the true core of the game. I like it much better then 3 even though they are similar I just like the way 4 _has been layed out better.
