Tekken Representative

I don't know why people would want Jin over Kazuya, Heihachi, or even Lars... Does he have something the others don't have, or that he's a bigger villain out of all the Mishimas?

    He has been the main protagonist of the Tekken series ever since his debut in Tekken 3(Anti-Hero in Tekken 6). He is basically their Ryu ever since he was added to the game series.

    I don't know how a Tekken character'd be incorporated into Smash, since specials are preformed in a style distinctly different from the likes of Street Fighter, assuming the devs want to allow those characters to execute moves like in their native games. Would be cool to see, though.

    I guess people would like a Tekken character because Street Fighter got represented and they'd like to see Jin because he's the main character for a good portion of the series. In my opinion, I'd like to see either Jin or Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia.

    Still, At this point, all of the Mishimas had been villains (Heihachi and Jinpachi since before Tekken 1, Kazuya since Tekken 2 although he had been planning to overthrow Heihachi for power in Tekken 1, and Jin since Tekken 6 [He wanted to end his bloodline's thirst for power, but ended up declaring world domination.]) but still, does it come down to level of villainy or icon status?

    I think its the DEVIL GENE that makes JIN a cool villian/hero. In that it makes him do terrible things yet at the same time he wants to end his family's curse.

    I would've preferred Lars. He may be a recent addition to the Tekken series, but the fact that he wants to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu and G-Corporation despite being a former commander of the Tekken Force sounded cool to me.
