    That's because popularity doesn't matter much. So basically popularity is worth nothing no matter how high the number is. Wins are 6x meaning it's pretty much the one that determines the winning team.

    Because before the 6x and 3x of battles, the popular teams were winning which many players didn't like as it seemed unfair because they technically won because they got more wins in battles while the popular team didn't win many battles.
