Question

9.0 Classic without customs?

The Knuckle Joe trophy from this challenge is the last trophy that I need. I can usually get through the matches okay, but Master Core is ludicrously tough - I take tons of damage against the giant and beast forms, and can't make it past the swords. Any characters I should use, or ways to dodge his attacks?

    I know that hanging onto ledges helps with dodging some of the giant's attacks, but I have no idea how to deal with the beast's. Shielding works on lower difficulties, but here, they come out too fast for me to react.

    Got to the doppelganger form as Bowser, though my damage was so high that a single Smash attack automatically KOd me. Seems like most of the giant's powerful attacks can be avoided by clinging onto the ledge, and the sword's attacks can be avoided with carefully timed dodge rolls (though he never used that rapid slashing attack, surprisingly). Still have no idea how to deal with the beast, though.

    Try a character that you're good with who has fast, repeatable moves with little cooldown (so you can run or shield quickly after each attack to avoid the beast) and good damage (it's all about damage with Master Core's forms) and strong aerials (for Master Sabers (?) and Master Fortress' "hearts")

    Do mii fighters count as customs? if not you can use the mii brawlers many multi hit moves.
