Christopher Mcandless gave all of his money to charity, and then hitchhiked with NO MONEY from Virginia, to California, to Mexico (By 1 man kayak), to Astoria, to Alaska, where he began his adventure on the Stampede trail, where he ate some moldy seeds, and died. He was 24.
