    Depends what you mean by worst, and it also depends on the game. As far as viability goes, Kirby in Melee or Ganon in Brawl are probably the worst Smash characters ever.

    Pichu is wildly considered the worst character in any Smash Bros. game. He's the lightest character in Melee, does low damage and receives recoil damage whenever a move uses electricity. Melee Kirby is also pretty horrendous.

    Pichu was intentionally made awful by the developers but despite that actual competitive Melee players will tell you that Pichu can do work when used by a decent player. Even Mango has stated that Pichu isn't as bad as people think. Still bad, but not the worst.
