Get all chaos emeralds at the start.

Here's a trick that'll get you super sonic, or just get all emeralds at the first zone. First play the game normally, and complete as many special stages as you can. Next: reset the game, go to options menu, and change the characters selections, and start the game. when you start the game you'll still have the amount of emeralds.
