What is up with this "salt" BS?

These slang or metaphor words sound so dumb to me lol. Like I personally can't believe people use them. "Your salty", "Hey dog", "your a scrub", "Get wrecked", "this is sick", "that's tight", "You got spiked", "punished" lol. If I made a metaphor name would it catch on? "Your poop" which means your cool LMFAO! xD

    The last two aren't really slang or metaphors... "Spiking" something by definition can also mean to throw something down, and punished is just plain literal. You miss or get blocked in-game and you will actually get punished in-game.

    Spike is an unofficial term for "Meteor Smash" in competitive Smash. There's a difference between Spike and Meteor in Melee, however there's none in Sm4sh. In Melee, a Meteor sends you straight down, but if you're good enough, you can cancel the momentum. A spike however, sends you downward in a slightly altered angle, and the momentum can't be cancelled

    Spike and punish aren't too weird. Those are just terms used to describe stuff in game all fighting games have stuff like that. Everything else is just modern slang though

    Let me remind you gamers (mostly) trolls never used the correct grammar of "wrecked". Its always the other corrupted, misspelled, less mature version saying "rekt" instead. Let's not forget the constant use of "8" for annoying/insulting someone which (used in an insult/troll) looks like "Gr8 B8 M8 I R8 8/8" Fans were never like this in the early 90-20's
