That would have been a better stage for Sonic. Crumbled buildings and rising water levels with Perfect Chaos rampaging in the background. But I suppose there's no promotion benefits for that.

    The Sonic series has plenty of stage-worthy levels...honestly wouldn't have minded this as a second Sonic stage. Personally, I think Metal Harbor would also make for a great Sonic stage in Smash.

    Angel Island Zone that eventually catches on fire. Ice Cap with occasional avalanches. Casinopolis Zone (nuff said). There's probably a Sonic '06 stage in the game but our minds get erased every time we play on it.

    I've actually had this exact stage in mind for a while! You'd battle on floating platforms of debris with Perfect Chaos in the background, who would occasionally shoot the platforms into the air and also occasionally launch attacks of his own. And of course the default music would be Open Your Heart. That would've been such an awesome stage!

    I'd also kill for an Angel Island stage! Or maybe a Death Egg stage with one of Eggman's giant robots as a stage boss. Or Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary, Space Colony ARK... It really is a shame that with so many iconic levels from Sonic's history, they chose something from the forgettable Lost World.

    A Sonic Colours stage would have been good. It boosted Wii sales. Also in that stage we could use the wisps. You can use the Frenzy wisp.
