An idea for Smash 5

What if in Smash 5 they include a speed select? You could choose between the gameplay speeds of Melee, Sm4sh, and Brawl for any level of play. That way, casual fans can enjoy Brawl's more family friendly speed and Melee enthusiasts can jump in with super fast bouts. It's just a thought.

There will be no smash 5 because Sakurai said himself that 4 is his "Final Smash" Although Having a 5th would be cool, I'm not gonna kill the man to make one. -w-

Excuse me, Smash 5 is not really the next game, it's the Wii U version, Sakurai said that both the 3DS and Wii U versions are both seperate games depending on release date, so SSB4 is 3DS, and Wii U is SSB5, the next game is SSB6. Besides, The 3DS and Wii U versions have a lot differences compared to them, making them have enough differences to be thier own installment.

I am so sick of people asking for this. Smash 4 has the perfect balance already. Who would want to add back glitches and broken nonsense.

Ganondorf needs a reboot BAD! Using Black Shadow as a way to pawn the moveset off is a good idea. Also they should use the HW design!

I'm not asking for all those 'techniques' to come back, I'm just saying it would be nice to choose the pace of the game.

I hope next Smash is an enhanced version of Wii u with more characters. All DLC free. All 3DS and Wii U stages, new, and old ones too. Probably not made by Sakurai. And Story mode. That way Nintendo doubles the profit and adds it too (hopefully) a popular console. Hope the NX does well.

I don't think Nintendo seems like the company that would release a complete edition of a game. I guess they feel people who bought the DLC would feel ripped off. I'm sure the next Smash game will be a true sequel and not just an updated version of the Wii U version.

What do you mean we may never get another Smash game? Do you really think they'll just end a juggernaut of a franchise? I'm sure it will be a few years before we see Smash 5, but they aren't gonna end it just yet.

And The ACTUAL scorce said otherwise. Don't believe anything you hear and half of what you see. He said we wont be getting DLC. Guess what? We got DLC. There will be no game after Melee. We got Brawl and Smash 4.

I know Sakurai changes his mind many times, but why do you think they'd just end a juggernaut franchise like Smash?

I mostly think it just hurts him. I kinda want him to stop for the sake of his health. He was forced to use his left hand because his right was in serious pain. (from what i've heard from him)

He should just know when to rest. I'm sure he loves the Smash series as much as the rest of us, he just needs to know how to balance resting and game development.

@CatSoldier Well, the 3DS and Wii U entries are still separate games depending according to Sakurai no matter what, them sharing the same Miiverse community doesn't make them the same game, they are still different enough to be thier own, there are different stages, music, trophies, modes, etc. SSB4 is the 3DS version, and SSB5 is the Wii U version, the next game will be SSB6 if it happens.

They're 2 different versions of the same game in the same way that PKMN Mystery Dungeons Red & Blue are different versions of the same game. One is just better and has additional features.
