Yeah, I know that certain level 60 Skells can become better than the Ares 90 using custom equipment, but said custom equipment is as a whole so time-consuming to get that it simply isn't practical. I'd consider the Ares 90, even though you can't equip more weapons in its empty weapon slots, the sole best Skell in the game for that reason.
