[RUMOR] NX

Not related with Smash but related to Nintendo, there's the rumor of NX compatibility with Android, PC and even PS4 Sounds a bit dumb (PS4 is "the enemy") but if you think a bit it have a little sense, what's your opinion about this? Any theory?

    the only one that makes sense is the PC. androids possibility is low and well, nintendos "true" enemy is microsoft, not sony. (they are making a mario movie after all) but a very very very very very low chance that will happen

    Not buying it for a second. PS4 compatibility? Seriously? What could possibly be the point of that? And why not Xbox One while we're at it? Nothing about this rumor seems remotely believable.

    I heard that a function the NX is rumored to have, is something that, when it links to other NX consoles, (don't know how big of a radius so don't ask), it links all of their UIs together to boost graphic resolutions, online stability and pretty much everything else on the NX. Also another rumored feature, is that if your not using your NX but someone elses NX connects to it to boost their NX...

    ...then you can earn some form of currency to use in the Nintendo Eshop. When multiple NXs are linked together, then their processing power is supposed to rival even top of the line PCs with little problem. This is all a rumor though so I don't know if it's true or not.

    Well it seems those are the only opinions this post will have, now this is mine. I believe the person who say this say it in the wrong way making people immediately think Nintendo NX running PS4 games or some absurdness like that. What I think is he was saying NX, PC and PS4 will have similar/same programming languages to make more easy for third parties to develop for NX.

    And with Square saying they want to take Dragon Quest XI to NX well I feel that means two things, NX is strong enough to support an actual generation game wich makes me believe the rumor of NX been as powerful as PS4 or even more; the second is NX have a much easy programming language so it's more easy to port games to it that makes me think if there are bigger reasons for Cloud to be in Smash

    Yes I believe the interest from Square on NX and the story of FF VII coming to N64 but ended on PS1 because of system limitations this could be a great thing, finally having the game on Nintendo

    @Silver not exactly, what they try to do is bringing the third parties back by giving them a more familiar programming language, we all know Wii U was left alone because it wasn't popular, powerful and was complicated adapt port games because Wii U unique language. I believe Nintendo want to fix those mistakes and well if Square is interested, they're on the right way

    FINALLY!! Now i don't have to hear other gamers say this system better than that system and so on so forth. Ness: Yeah -_- All this rivalry of two of the biggest game companies of all time will finally rest. But it's a rumor though so we are not sure sadly but if would be nice if we can get along with our longest rival :)

    Ness is right, this is just a rumor but I hope for it to be real so we can have again third party AAA games. About the "war" it will never actually end, not until people understand we all have different tastes on games

    Ness: I agree...many people have different taste in games therefore this "war" will never end...like Marvel vs DC, Fnaf vs Undertale (i believe thats what happening now) Star Wars vs Star Trek, etc etc etc blah blah blah you get the drift :p Me: You got it Ness. But im still hoping that we should get along as gamers XD
