There were a couple "Guide Dang It" moments in the original Xenoblade Chronicles, such as the location of certain Collectopaedia items (looking at you Rainbow Slug) and the "New Weapon for Fiora" quest, but X is pretty much packed full of them. One of my only real problems with the game aside from the weak story and main characters, actually.
