help how do i get new dlc in ssbb!

some one please tell me how to get lucas on smash for 3ds i tried and went to dlc shop and all it said was ''none in stock'' what do i have to do to get the new characters

    You have to buy them with $$$ Money. Put some money on the eshop, and go buy the character. You need a credit/debit card.

    you can just get one of those eshop cards. you dont necessarily need a credit card.

    First you need the latest update. You can find it on the eshop. Then on start menu press the Y button to enter the dlc menu. If you have the funds you can purchase dlc
