I've got an idea for a new item!

The homing ray gun. It works like the normal ray gun, but the shots home in on opponents and do half the damage of a normal ray gun's shot.

    Bowser Jrs Paint Brush: Charge it to shhot a ball of ink whcih will cause the opponent to move slow for a 3-5 seconds per shot(3-4 shots). Can also swing it like the home run bat, sword, and other battering weapons.

    Why not a Splatoon item? The most iconic weapon of Splatoon is the Splattershot. A fast shooting gun with the shots being affected by gravity. It leaves puddles wherein enemies move slower and jump less high. It does the opposite for allies. A direct hit on the enemy damages a little and gives a heavy but temporary decrease on its movement. That will make it an unique new item in Smash.
