The only things I can find to complain about in Xenoblade Chronicles X's gameplay are the removal of Talent Arts, Chain Attacks, and the Gem Crafting system. However, I think Overdrive is a good replacement for the former two, and as for the latter... Okay, augments aren't a good replacement for gems at all due to how much more tedious their creation is, but I'll take it I guess.
