Mega Absol might actually be a pretty good special attacker if it got Nasty Plot and/or Moonblast. At the moment though, it's really only a good physical sweeper, and even then there are probably better uses of your Mega slot. (Can't be burned or paralyzed through Will-o-Wisp and Thunder Wave, respectively, though.)

    #1 Hidden Power can't be Fairy-type, and a Fairy-type special attack is really what Mega Absol needs most as a special attacker. #2 Hidden Power is extremely weak, so even if it could be Fairy-type it wouldn't be able to be the powerful Fairy-type move that Absol needs.
