It takes 51 seconds* for the lyrics in the first half of Black Tar to start. I can understand it if you wouldn't want to listen to the song on loop because of the lyrics, but considering that a substantial amount of the battles in Xenoblade Chronicles X last less than 51 seconds from my experience, there's really no cause to complain about its use in-game. (You'll get used to them eventually.)
