Let me put it this way: Mega Pidgeot would be a lot better if it had options for special attacking other than Hurricane, Heat Wave, and Hidden Power (and Hyper Beam but its drawback is too significant to make it worth it). Granted being able to use a perfectly accurate STAB Hurricane outside of the rain is great on its own, and Heat Wave isn't bad either, but still...
