    @The Ninja My previous comment is referring to Mr.Blitz. He hints that not carrying a weapon is bad. No wonder the number of gun casualties and school shootings are so high in the US, if all individuals there think like that.

    I'm not forgetting that. It doesn't change the fact that allowing everyday citizens to carry something so dangerous is ludicrous when you realise how often guns are misused in the US compared to times when they were actually used for the 'protection' argument.

    I hate guns myself and I'm an American. So there you are. When "You have the right to bear arms" was written as an Amendment, we were in the 1700's. Guns were- fire one round bullet with your rifle, tip it up, pour in gunpowder, pound it in there with a pole, put in another bullet...You get the idea. And Americans were wanting to keep guns because we were concerned about defending our homes...

    from the invading British during the Revolutionary War. Well, a lot has changed hasn't it? And Americans still treat their guns like some untouchable right. Why do people need armor piercing bullets if you're a hunter? Why do you need to keep so many guns? Makes me sick!
