I hope Hyrule Warriors gets a NX version. 1080p 60fps with with the feature that the 3DS got where you can switch between different characters. Plus I would like Amiibo support so I can have an Amiibo be a team member.

That's not a stretch, that should be the standard for every console last and this generation haha. Everyone has it standard except for Nintendo. It worked well with Monster Hunter 3U and since they want to evolve their ecosystem, priority one should be making the console more social then it is. I honestly hated the Wii U video chat personally.

That's what I mean. I don't think Nintendo is interested in giving us voice chat in any games. I think I remember Sakurai saying that the reason we didn't get voice chat in the Wii U version was so the online would run smoother, which is reasonable I suppose.

Well based on all the rumors and everything. Nintendo might be up-scaling their servers and cloud system, all that jazz, pretty much having the same tech as Microsoft. They could be gearing up to have the best online experience out of the 3 companies plus if they keep the online free (unlike MS and Sony) people could flock over to Nintendo for the best online experience.

I hope the NX has cloud saves so I can upload my save data (like steam on PC) so I can download it if I lost all my data.

That would be awesome. I'm still a little concerned since Nintendo isn't really interested in utilizing the online network that they already have. (Last post)

Well the issue isn't the server, it's whether you want to invest in that console. Nintendo didn't want to invest a lot of money on a console that didn't sell. I can see them putting ALL their investment in the NX with their new concept this could be really big and with a better name and marketing, the NX could be huge. It's just a wait and see process.

I feel like it's more about Nintendo's attitude towards online in general. Things like cross game chat, on screen notifications, and a decent message system are all reasonable things to ask for. Local multiplayer is great, but we should have online multiplayer as well. Maybe that will change with the NX.

It has to change with the NX. I mean Nintendo is showing a new attitude towards gaming and their business in general. They need a whole new infrastructure which is showing that's what they're doing with the new membership system and ecosystem combining ALL of your devices. They must be investing a LOT of money on this new infrastructure for console, handheld, mobile, computers, and tablets.

If they can't show they're evolving then they would start losing money. They are on a goldmine when it comes to video games and IP's, they just needed a push with the Wii U's failure to show that.

I'm also hoping that the NX is a console/handheld hybrid as well. For people who likes to have a normal console for gaming and the handheld for people who likes being on the go and hybrid for both using the handheld as a controller like the Wii U gamepad plus off TV play like the Wii U using at a second screen. Could work perfectly if Nintendo don't do what Sony did and having to use your Wifi.

To use the Vita with the PS4. I don't have good internet so I can't use any of that stuff. people said all you need is a router but I'm too lazy to figure that stuff out. If Nintendo integrates the same tech they used for the gamepad and have the same signal go through to the handheld without the use of Wifi (unless you're away from your home) it could be a really amazing feature!

That would be cool. I guess they would need to include some kind of handheld component to have backwards compatibility (at least with most games). I hope they sell the handheld seperately to keep the cost of the system down. (sorry for the delayed response.

If the handheld is strong enough then Virtual Console shouldn't be an issue. I mean we might finally see gamecube games on the NX, they got Wii games working but never gave us a gamecube yet. A lot of people want gamecube games too, so hopefully NX we'll see everything everyone wants from metroid to mother 3.

When the console first came out, they said it was strong enough to run gamecube VC but it never happened. I think they should wait for the NX to drive more sales for their good gamecube games like Pikmin 1-2 and Super Mario Sunshine.
