I'm trying to draw as if it's a 3D model instead of a 2D drawing, any tips?

  • You have to use more shades. Drawing in '2D' only requires 1 or 2 tones of shades and highlights. '3D' shading requires much more tones. Try using around 3-4 tones of shadow and like 2 tones of highlights. Hopefully this helped!

  • Thanks! How should I blend the colors?

  • I don't have pokemon AA but I guess they have a smudge stick which is used for blending. Once again not sure what they have so you should probably ask someone who has experience with the program.
