    Pit first appeared in Kid Icarus for the NES in 1986 and became a fighter in Brawl. Dark Pit first appeared in Kid Icarus Uprising in 2013 and became a fighter in SSB4. Like Marth and Lucina, Pit and Dark Pit are also the most similar clones. However their specials are very personal, everything else is the same so this is a short one.

    Neutral- Pit's bow reflects to power of light while Dark Pit's bow reflects to dark power. Side- Pit's uppercut is the same weapon used in Kid Icarus Uprising, Dark Pit has one with lightning on it. Up- Both are the same, Pit's Up B use to be just flying but was replaced with gliding. Down- Both are the same, Pit's Down B use to be a shield that can even defend from Samus's Final Smash.

    Despite my undying love for Pit, I play Dark Pit better when it comes to SSB4. Dark Pit's slighty adjusted moveset actually contributes to the fact of him being a character more suited to offensive play. I do prefer being offensive, for you can bring the battle to your favor quickly. But, Pit's balanced game is also effective. You are able to adjust between both offensive/defensive play.
