Question

Playing with Bowser...any advices?

Possible sub-Main. I like his style, but it was hard to play in the past. Now in sm4sh it got pretty buffed a patch ago and this last patch a liiittle more...I can say I play "decent" but I want to play good, and eventuaylly better. Any Bowser mains can lend me an advice?

    His Side Special counts as a grab, so shields won't work on it. When using his Down Special, try to get up off screen and directly above your opponent, so it would be hard for them to determine what you're doing. Bowser is a Super-Heavy weight who is surprisingly fast, so use that to your advantage.

    @UTMaster & @Noah: Yeah, I kinda shielgrab at ledges, somethimes to break the guarding. It misses sometimes, but its just timing so its ok. Since Suicidal are nerfed now I just use it when i'm about to lose the 1st sotck. Thanks guys! Yeah kinda know the Aerial timing and upthrow-UpAir combo and other basic combos. Still I feel like I'm playing regular.

    His grab up throw combos into up tilt, and at higher percentages up air.

    The main thing about Bowser is that you don't always want to rush in. Bowser requires patience, and knowing how stage control works. He's actually fairly defensive, so don't run off stage to edgeguard unless you think they won't expect it. Also use down air more often than down b, you can angle it and it has less lag, down b for a mix up. Up b out of shield is a nice option to.

    @Jackson Yeah I noticed, But sometimes its not quite enough. I guess I just should do that combo when they are at kill %, thanks! @Connor Actually that seems the best option, I noticed some lag when I fail an attack, thats quite punishable. About the Dair, it has less lag so I'll try that. In edgeGuarding just do flames to get extra dammage. Will try the UpB on land to give pressure. Thanks!
