    Since Smash NX is more likely to be a port of Smash Wii U and it's going to release at the launch of the NX according to the rumor, these characters are taken out of the running: Waluigi, Toad (unless it's Captain Toad), Gen VII Pokemon, Viridi, Chrom and Takamaru. I could also only see 2 to 4 characters max being added as additional content if they do that.
