    You seem to forget, Snake is Konami's character, and one of the rules for third party characters is that both Nintendo and [insert third party company here] have to agree on allowing the character to be represented in Smash, and I believe they didn't in this case, hence Snake isn't here sadly :v (would have been nice though…)

    Well thats most likely not the case. You have to remember that the creator of the Snake series practically begged for snake to be in Melee. Not only that but does Snake even fit in with the rest of the roster?
