Uploading Smash videos to YouTube?

I'm trying to upload my first video directly from the game to YouTube. Do I have to leave the uploading progress bar window up the entire time or will it keep going if I close it?

    I think you have to leave it open. I tried leaving that screen before and it asked if I wanted to cancel the upload, so you'll have to wait while it uploads.

    Thanks! Wish it would let me do something while I'm waiting. The Miis on the gamepad seem to be suggesting I lift weights, water a plant, meditate or play a 3DS while I wait. LOL

    That's what it seems like. You can also play back the replay you're posting for background music if your music setting is on.
