Melee Problem

So in like a few weeks I might get super smash bros melee.Since its so old it sells for around $150-$200.Im a diehard smashbros fan, I have a compatible console and ive always wanted to play this game.Is it a good deal,should i buy it?I also have my brother living with me that loves the game but horribly scratched the disc as a child.(I have tried every method to fix the scratches!)

    If you really care about it that much, then probably. Though, I don't know. I feel like the novelty could wear off pretty quickly, unless you want to get involved with the competitive side of it, in which case you'll probably want to look into the presence of the Melee competitive scene anywhere near where you live. But that's just me, I haven't played Melee in years.
