I have a question for everyone.

If the next smash game had gameplay IDENTICAL to Melee (Wavedashing, L-cancelling ect.) would you still buy it? I know I would.

    I'm not talking about a remake. I'm talking about a NEW Smash game (new characters, stages, game modes ect.) that just happens to play just like Melee.

    Not going to happen. Sakurai has made sure that those mistakes would not happen in future games and im glad he removed them alongside chain grabbing.

    Wavedashing and L-canceling were exploits created by players. You don't see anything about those in the booklet or the ingame tutorial, do you? So, no. I doubt they will ever return, as they were never intentional game mechanics.
