Pokken Tournament supports every amiibo

Whilst we were already aware that the Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo Card, which is being offered as a first-print bonus, is compatible with the game, thanks to Nintendo's official site, we now know that all amiibo are supported. Simply scan an amiibo to unlock in-game items. No additional info is provided, so we'll have to wait a bit longer for details.

    Hmm, I hope by items they mean some sort of visible accessory the Pokemon can wear. I think cosmetic DLC is the best use of Amiibos. Pay to Win DLC I'm not a fan of (powers / abilities, like the Kirby Rainbow Curse DLC), and something like SSB4 was kind of lame (it just basically unlocked higher level CPUs).

    I wonder if the Pokemon amiibos give out better rewards/abilities than the regular ones. That would give those ones more useful than just using them for Smash Bros.

    Nice! I've got almost 50 amiibo, so I can't wait to see how they can all be used in this game. I'm guessing the non-Pokemon amiibo will do something similar to Hyrule Warriors, while the Pokemon amiibo will probably have a bigger use.
