So I got the demo for this game.

But there's no electronic manual! How do you even play it? I've tried a couple battles, but I'm not that good at them. I usually get in 2nd or 3rd place.

    X = jump A = attack B = special attack (You can input then in different directions by moving the control stick)

    Oh boy, stay off For Glory when you get the full game then. This game is more technical than people think. It's why it's played in tournaments alongside other big name fighters.

    Spend a match or two just pressing buttons and moving around. Figure out what each button does, and go from there. : )

    I figured it out! I'm basically just hitting the A button when I go by CPUs. I don't press B a lot because I use Villager most of the time. And Pikachu. Using the gyroid for me is like my lifesaver when I get thrown off. If I got the full version, I'd only play as Villager, Pikachu, Charizard, Lucario, Greninja, Samus and Zero Suit Samus. I'll rent the game to see if the full version is any good.
