Ninth Drop Chase

Sooo... that chase at the end of the drop. I just finished it after much frustration yesterday but I'm curious - anyone have a better strategy for it than "run and hope Ouse doesn't teleport right in front of you"? She kept getting in my way so I just restarted the drop and bought a few mirrorstones so I could just crash into her. I feel like there must be a better way though!

    Also, watched a playthrough where someone took a photo of her. Does that do anything (since she doesn't take damage)?

    That part is very hard. I usually walk VERY slowly but keeping a safe distance from her until I reach the entrance of the shrine. That way she won't use her teleport. Dealing with the drowned maidens is difficult but it can be done with the help of the slow lens. Hope that helps.

    I tried walking slowly... it worked for a bit but then she decided to pop up in my face! She really didn't like me taking my time to escape haha. I just don't get why she feels the need to teleport into my path constantly! And yeah, those drowned maidens are a complete pain. Luckily I was able to avoid them, but it was close!

    Makes me miss running from Sae in Fatal Frame II. That took strategy and was a lot of fun!

    Honestly, I didn't find this too difficult. I just ran, kept ready to veer away from her when she bamfed in my path, and kept my thumb on the B button to dodge. I think it just comes down to reflexes and a bit of luck.

    It happens really fast, so you might have just missed it. Unless you have your thumb on the B button ready to go at any moment, there's no way you'll be quick enough.

    Yeah, if this game has taught me anything it's that my reflexes are awful haha. Can't ever escape those random ghost hands either!
