    It does charge tax. I live in Michigan, so its 6 cents on the dollar (6%.)

    Eastern?thats my timezone awsome and i looked my eshop recite for puzzle quest and it was 7.99 so it did not charge me any tax so theoretically it wont charge tax if i purchase in game...hhhmmm...cool

    If you purchase content from Nintendo eShop, then you'll know if it charges you tax or not. I think Florida doesn't have sales tax, but I could be wrong.
