HELP!! pleaseee

hello. i just got my 3DS yesterday but had accidentally set the date and time wrong. i had already been playing tomodachi life so this change effected the game. i read online that it does effect the game but how so is unclear. will be shops update in 5 days or never? im really worried i messed up :( if i did how can i fix it?

    It's Ok. The shops take only 1 day to update, and I think you may not be able to collect islander contributions for 1 day as well. Oh, and all the islanders will think you've been gone forever, but no actual harm has been done to the game. :)
