Nintendo on VR, NX Update & Second Mobile Title Info

Nintendo CEO Tatsumi Kimishima says: - Company will share more info on NX "not too late in the course of this year” - “2nd (mobile) game, we plan to adopt one of our characters that fans are v.familiar with.” - Also, during an investor's briefing, Nintendo stated that it's "looking at VR" but more time & effort are needed to assess the tech.

    I just don't want these new mobile games to be something like Super Mario Xover or Legend of Zelda: All the Bravest, i.e., something that diminishes the brand value of Nintendo's IPs with bad controls or relentless microtransactions.

    If I were there I would advise against looking into VR until improvements to the tech is made. Microsoft is already experimenting with more use in AR technology.

    I will never understand virtual reality people, there's a reason why it never made it. Might as well play a game about life for the rest of my life, also I don't like wearing things on my head. Just keep it simple and make a controller.
