Favorite character announcement

Tomorrow we will receive our final two DLC characters and costumes, bringing another chapter in the SSB series to a close. Looking back, what character announcement over the course of the game's development generated the most hype out of you?

    Both Roy and Cloud were my most hyped DLC characters of Smash. Roy was my favorite Fire Emblem character on SSBM and Cloud was so unexpected but thankfully not spoiled by any means.

    I find it funny that one of my favorite video game characters (Mega Man) got overshadowed by a character from a game I'd completed a year ago (Robin),I literally got two of my favorite characters,so I definitely loved the reveals of the two.

    With the inclusion of characters like Pac-Man, Mega Man, Ryu and Cloud, SSB4 has arguably the greatest roster in the series. If and when it is made, how can SSB5 possibly top it?

    I actually cried during the smash direct and Roy was confirmed even beyond the leak, which I believed from the very start. Roy is... Our Boy!

    They could top the roster by adding Wolf, Snake, Ice Climbers, and The two missing Pokemon from Pokemon Trainer. Don't forget Shrek, Goku, and Weegee.
