DLC bundle pack for Wii U and 3DS

I am about to buy Bayonetta bundle for Wii U and 3DS but I only have the Wii U and the 3DS is for my cousin. Here's my question is the 3DS code from the Wii U receipt, available to share or is it locked on my account?
