About the awesome Koopa King!

Between Bowser's roars/grunts and his Mario Sunshine voice, do you guys think he should talk again, or just keep roaring? In my opinion, Bowser sounds pretty dang awesome with just his roars and grunts. I don't think that VA is good, partially because I hated his Sunshine voice and partially because I don't think it would fit him. That's just me. What do you think?

    I'd say that roaring sounds more impressive for his character and eliminates the problem of possibly having poor writing or an ill-suited VA.

    I prefer the humanistic roars and laughs that you hear in the Mario Kart games over the animalistic sounds that they used for Bowser and Donkey Kong in the Smash Bros. series. I think full voice acting shouldn't happen, but I appreciate the occasional fully formed word or phrase. They should treat him like Mario: no full voice acting, but plenty of phrases like "It'sa me, Mario!" and "Here we go!"

    I wouldn't mind Nintendo's usual practice of having read dialogue supplemented by occasional phrases. My all time favorite Bowser is the one I Galaxy, and either taking away his dialogue or voicing it would change his character. ...Then again, I haven't played Sunshine yet.

    Bowser also says "Uh-oh" when you get a Game Over and says "Noo!" in certain scenes in Bowser's Inside Story. I like his grunts and roars in a fighting game, but I prefer his current voice in other games.

    Ishizeki: Yes, I forgot completely about Bowser's Inside Story! His voice was great then! Benjamin: Yeah, that would work. Blake: ...Sunshine is a divisive game. If you play it, you'll hear a lot of good and bad about it.

    I basically want him to be like in BIS. Brief phrases ("Showtime!") and plenty of dialogue, but mostly roars.

    Though I have to say this: Mario needed different voice clips this time around. I'd at least enjoy a "Woohoo!" once in a while. Same for Luigi.
