    yeah that happens to everyone. it doesnt mean the purchaseable dlc i think it just means extra data and stuff so youre able to get the dlcs

    That's because the DLC is actually part of the update. You see, even though you don't own the DLC, you might play an online match where your opponent does own the DLC. It would cause problems if your game didn't know what your opponents game was talking about. Buying the DLC in the Eshop simply activates it so that you can use it.
