New Favorite Character

This is one of my favorite fighters that they added to SSB. So many great moves, combos, and the recovery options are amazing. Glad to see all my hype for this character did not lead to disappointment. Thank You Sakurai for adding Corrin to SSB.

    Actually a lot of people would be pleased if all they did was add more characters/stages. Those are the heart and soul of SSB games so it would please many if more characters were added along with some new stages/3DS stages.

    I think it depends on how much (and what) they add. Getting something like 6 characters (Wolf, ICs and 4 newcomers) plus 4 (or more) stages would be a good deal in my book. Though I would still appreciate it if they add something else too so it would really feel like a proper new game and not just a rehashed Smash Wii U.

    Im sure Wolf and Ice Climbers will be DLC. We might see 3-8 newcomers added along with new stages and 3DS stages.

    Like what Mikao said, the port version would probably be more characters, stages, tweaked stuff & improved online but however the additional characters would probably be based on the ones that were cut from Smash 3DS/Wii U rather than the ballots since Bayonetta is the winner from the ballots.

    Actually they would likely use the ballot to help choose the newcomers. Rather than stressing over who they should choose they can just choose some popular votes from the ballot that didn't break Sakurais rules and make them. Fans would be pleased, removes stress from Sakurai/team, and could bring great potential to newcomers.

    Hi Kage, sense I don't plan on buying the new characters, how are they? I also see you have a lot of characters you want in Smash 6 and one is Yooka-Laylee, do you believe they'll actually get in or do you think another more popular indie character will get in such as Shovel Knight or Shantae because I also hope for Yooka-Laylee.

    The new characters are amazing. Honestly i doubt any indie character will make it into a SSB game BUT if they could happen then thats one I would like to see get added.

    I think Yooka-Laylee in all honesty sounds very possible because simply how amazing of a history(most) of the people at Playtonic actually has with Nintendo and I'm willing to go even further, if Y-L sells the best on the WiiU(& possibly NX) then Nintendo might actually let them make... get ready for it... another Donkey Kong Country game which in my opinion would be pretty awesome to see.

    Not sure about the DKC game BUT i agree with the history they have with Nintendo and that history could be the reason we get them(or maybe not). The fun of character speculation. With the next version being possibly released within 3 years im sure we will see at the very least 5 more characters(2 being Ice Climbers and Wolf).

    He could take the top 10(minus Bayonetta and characters that breaks his main rules) and make them newcomers within the NX version along with returning veterans people really miss.

    Indies a 50/50. Seems cool but we don't know if Sakurai/Nintendo even want them in SSB. Only way we will know is if they either confirm an indie for playable or come out and say NO Indie in some form of article.

    The upcoming spiritual Banjo-Kazooie game. It plays the same way(more or less), made by a company made from former Rare employees, and follows Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the Bat. The game is scheduled to be released October 2016 for all home consoles that will be out at that given time. It might get an NX version but we will have to wait and see.
