Just an FYI Fire Emblem Fates has been censored, with a mode being cut out of the game that featured tons of voiced lines. Don't support censorship, boycott the Corrin DLC and Fire Emblem Fates!!!

Do you know of the censorship done to Xenoblade X? Where the 13 year old girl no longer had skimpy clothes as an option unlike the other legal aged girls? Is that still wrong to censor that?

If the game came out uncensored, there would probably be SJW's claiming the game is sexist due to the petting. Considering a good portion of them are pretty much evil, would you rather have a major poop-storm from them?

@GiraPrimal I'd rather have no game than a butchered mess that doesn't represent the artists' original vision. @Aeon, why wouldn't they announce it then and prevent lost sales? Why did IGN just say the game is gone but you still get the bonuses, instead of saying another minigame replaced it?

Last post today, I hit my post limit. @Andrew they already caused this, they complained about this and not about the hot springs or other things like that infamous cut scene, so this got changed and other things didn't get changed (as far as we know, that is).

I'm not going to dance around Nintendo's PR when it comes to that. But assuming that we are losing 2-3 hours of voiced dialogue simply because Nintendo confirmed that the face rubbing was gone isn't much better. It's better to wait for an official announcement than assume anything, especially considering how long this discussion has gone on a community about Smash Bros.

Camilla's cutscene is unchanged, you can still buy swimsuits if the accessory is to believed (the only outfits that can be bought in the accessory shop are swimsuits), and you can still build and upgrade Hot Springs in My Castle. To me, this suggests that the petting's removal was a more concerning one than simply for the sake of lowering the rating.

I'm wondering what you're trying to accomplish with a boycott, for that matter. Skinship being removed would likely be out of fear that it would be too off-putting/controversial and negatively impact sales as a result. By instigating a boycott, you'd be putting Ninty in an unwinnable situation where they risk the game flopping no matter what they do - in which case why localise it at all?

It isn't even that big of a deal. One mode isn't worth the whole game. At least we're getting a North American version. The first FE games never even made it here.

Alright, look. If you're not going to buy Fates, that's okay. However, you're not going to change our minds about it. People love Fire Emblem and they're going to buy Fates, regardless of whether or not it has the petting feature. You're not going tomconvince us to boycott it when we don't care what happens. You're wasting your time with this.
